This is the face of a tired rock chick trying to finish writing my first book before the Iron Maiden gig next week.
A few reflections.
I need to finish writing this for my own sanity but mainly to get down on paper everything I have learned about value-based healthcare in the last 10 years of implementing it.
It doesn’t even matter if you don’t like the term #vbhc. At its core this is about bringing together all of the elements needed to improve the outcomes that matter and to help us create sustainable universal healthcare for the world’s population.
It’s not a technocratic book. It’s messy and personal. And it contains important stories of people trying to make a difference, for whom I shall remain eternally grateful.
Publication expected in the autumn.
