I have struggled a fair bit with the data and impact chapters in my forthcoming book on value-based healthcare (spoiler, it’s about an awful lot more than vbhc and dedicated to every patient I ever met).
I was worrying so much about making it internationally relevant. Today I had a breakthrough. Of course it is internationally relevant. Despite our different contexts, cultures and perspectives, we are all human. All trying our best in a difficult system in a difficult world stage. No matter what that system looks like in our own country.
So I have come to realise that the story I am telling should resonate with many of you. It’s a call for collective action not a victory parade.
